A Knight's Persuasion

Sweeping and sensual, A Knight's Persuasion is a medieval historical romance featuring a knight and the woman he nearly wed, a deadly plot against his father's house, and an amnesia that leaves her unsure whether he's her lost love or her killer.

When Edouard de Lanceau-son of Moydenshire's great Lord Geoffrey de Lanceau-finds a wounded woman lying unconscious in a river, he's stunned to recognize Lady Juliana de Greyne, the woman he was once nearly betrothed to. A reckless wager to win her kiss undid that match a year ago, and when Juliana's sister deceived him into a betrothal of her own, honor bound him elsewhere. Yet he has never stopped wanting Juliana. Gathering her into his arms, he vows to find out who wants her dead, and why.

But enemies of the de Lanceaus have returned to Moydenshire to destroy them, and Edouard is taken prisoner and chained in a tower-forced to fight for his life and Juliana's both. When she wakes, she remembers nothing: not her name, not her past, only that she's captive beside a man in chains who swears he knows her. Her feelings for the stranger run strangely deep, and she cannot say whether they were once lovers or whether he's the danger she should fear most. Determined to reclaim her memory and the truth, Juliana learns that nothing can overcome love-or the power of a knight's persuasion.
