Rev. John J Gordon, OMI, was ordained to the Catholic priesthood in 2001 and is a member of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. He currently serves as pastor of St. Mary's Church in downtown San Antonio, where for more than sixteen years he has faithfully ministered to the parish community and to the poor and marginalized who seek assistance along its streets. He is the author of two other books, Upon an Untrodden Path and Distressing Waves.
