Coven of the Rising Serpent

Remember that time in '99 when the dragons returned to Earth?

San Diego, California, October 1999
While the world is pirating alternative rock off Napster and wondering if they'll survive Y2K,
Laurel Rain is getting initiated into a coven of witches. She's expecting an empowering New
Age ceremony with a little creepy occultic kink to go with it. What she gets is a door thrown
open to ancient gods and monsters who want to retake this world for themselves.
That same night, Laurel's friend Tia throws her boyfriend, Jack, out of the house. Why? He's just
told her he's really a shapeshifting dragon called a Naga. And she had more than her fair share of
dealing with crazy people when she used to practice witchcraft, thank you very much!
The thing is, Jack's not crazy. The Naga are real and so is the danger to Tia and Christian, her
ten-year-old son. To fight it, Tia and her friends in the Coven of the Rising Serpent must delve
into ancient forces hiding beneath the familiar world. Forces threatening not only their lives, but
the nature of reality itself.
