Now living in the strange peace after an apocalyptic conflict, David finds himself pulled back into the chaos alongside Aria - a werewolf struggling with her own identity, her fractured soul, and the burden of leadership. Their unlikely friendship becomes the foundation of a fragile alliance between humans and supernatural beings.

When outbreaks of corrupted creatures and Crucifix trafficking threaten the city of West Ridge, David and Aria investigate the source, encountering vampires, demons, and enemies from David's ancient past. Their search forces David to confront the consequences of his choices, including the truth behind his curse and the role he played in creating the very conflict now threatening the world.

As old enemies return and the forces of Hell begin moving again, David must decide whether he is truly capable of changing - or whether the darkness that has followed him for centuries is the only thing he has ever been.
