Developmental Confrontational Psychology (DCΨ) is an original psychological school that studies human growth through a series of developmental confrontations that shape identity, resilience, and consciousness. It redefines "development" not as chronological age, but as an existential journey - physical, emotional, and spiritual - through which the individual learns to confront the world, the other, the self, and mortality.

At the heart of DCΨ lies the Developmental Confrontation Theory (DCT), a framework that maps four fundamental stages of human awareness: "I am the world," "I am the other," "I am unique," and "I am vanishing." These stages unfold as progressive confrontations, each forming the basis for later psychological balance or distortion.

The theory's diagnostic and therapeutic system - collectively called the DC-Scanner - includes several research instruments:
• SRI (Stage Resolution Index) - measures the resolution and distortion of each developmental stage.
• DCPTT (Developmental Confrontation Personality Trait Typology) - identifies symbolic personality orientations derived from the four stages.
• SDCPT (Symbolic Developmental Confrontation Projection Tests) - explores unconscious imagery of confrontation.
• DRT (Developmental Resolution Therapy) - a structured therapeutic framework integrating three applied modules:
• ART (Analytical Resolution Therapy)
• BRT (Behavioral Resolution Therapy)
• XRT (Experiential Resolution Therapy)

Together, these models form a complete psychological architecture that links theory, diagnosis, and practice. DCΨ positions confrontation not as pathology but as the natural site of transformation.

The book provides the foundational constitution of DCΨ, its historical roots, its comparison with classical schools (psychoanalytic, behavioral, cognitive, existential), and its applications in therapy, research, and symbolic interpretation.
