Liza has just moved into a new town, Silver Way, with her irresponsible mother. The town is strange to say the least, but Liza's next-door neighbor is the strangest. When Liza has to go next door to borrow a cup of sugar for some comfort fudge, she meets a scientist. Exploring the upstairs brings her in contact with a dead body--No! Mannequin! That's what Liza tells herself. But after some magic sugar brings the body to life, she meets the hot but annoying Victor Frankenstein--related not the original. Liza is called upon to help Victor live his life, no matter how much sparks fly when they meet.
Liza's new best friend is incredible. Kind, beautiful, but the last thing Liza wants is for her new friend to look down on her for not having a boyfriend. So, she pretends that Victor is her boyfriend. But what can an out of control fake boyfriend do for her reputation? Nothing good, that's what.
But Victor is on a time limit. Without true love, he will go back to the ground. For Liza, this fake dating is getting a little too real. Will Victor find his true love, and will Liza impress her new friend without falling deeper into her act? Soon life and death won't be the only thing in the air at Silver Way High School.
