Forgiveness is a great virtue one can possess, it is being built with the right understanding and knowledge which makes one forego or see that others become better despite their errors, no one is above mistakes, as much as one would want to avoid mistakes some factors could make one make mistake but there are mistakes one should never make especially a conscious effort to make wrong choices without thinking of the consequences and the outcome of that decision made. Some people make a conscious effort to change from their old behaviors while some are still in the habit of continuing with the wrong choices they make. However, as one wants to enjoy a long-lasting relationship with God and man, forgiveness is essential, though it is painful to do it prevents terrible outcomes in the future that one may not see which can affect those around them. Decisions are very important in this life and one should not overlook any point of decision. Some have been hurt but they must be ready to move on and allow the hurt they have faced not to affect them. They must be ready to forgive and let go, able to move on with life and be positive about what life has to offer, not intimated by those who come around and give everyone a chance to be good or show a level of goodness in them. As much as one would try to forgive any hurt, one must be ready to let go and forget, not able to recall, judge, or condemn one later on when one makes the same mistakes. It takes a while to change a habit, a habit that has grown to become a lifestyle, and activities that one is more frequent with. Some did not have the right moral upbringing to make them good, some were raised in a good environment but they still find themselves living a life that is not worth saying from where they come from. Forgiveness is divine and it is only God that gives one the ability to forgive, if one has to depend on his/her strength, it would be difficult to do. Forgiveness is a principle that attracts forgiveness to those who forgive others of their wrongs and are also ready to repent of their old ways when they err against someone. We can never tell what life will bring or what the future holds for someone who has erred you because their life can be transformed; learn to give someone a second chance because everyone deserves a second chance. Never learn to give up on people but be meticulous and persistent that they change and repent from every wrong step or action they make.
