Hard To Be Me

No one was more surprised than I by my stroke of October of 2018. It interrupted an almost perfect life. But one has to learn that no one gets that; and that there are gems to be mined from such "Life quakes", (A term coined by Bruce Feiler, in his book, Life is in the transitions) and that, in tiny steps one(and the people around us) can return from the devastation, back to a new and possibly even better life, simply by continuing to put one step in front of another, to see what good is waiting ahead, no matter how far ahead it is. Any account of recovery from a severe event should include this fact, and the fact that this is not necessarily a bad thing, because it could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to find treasures inside and around oneself, which also makes us a greater blessing to others, much of which is generally hidden from our eyes, but is available to all without charge.

This is intended as an eye-opening account that recoveries don't happen overnight and can be valued for exactly that - that at the seemingly darkest of times, thousands of small recoveries are continually happening in our lives.
