Jacquiline Sway a skilled hacker required assistance with an IT problem, recruits help from Teresa, a talented American fellow hacker. Teresa sends her a program that crashes her computer, so she introduces Jacquiline to Gregor, a Croatian fellow hacker hiding in the UK. Gregor was in hiding because he had previously uncovered a Russian syndicate's criminal cyber activities in Croatia and on investigating Jacquiline's laptop and finds disturbing similarities to the details he found in Croatia. Gregor and Jacquiline are drawn into a deadly web of assassinations, culminating in a massacre linked to the syndicate.

Once they knew what they were looking for, Gregor completing a deep dive into Jacquiline's laptop discovering alarming evidence pointing to a colossal money laundering scheme concealed within complex cyber programs. Gregor's keen analysis uncovers the account key in a mysterious program sent from Teresa to Jacquiline's laptop, however without the details of the account it unlocked it was useless.
