Vera was blessed to have a Mother who pushed her forward while insisting she hold on to what she had learned from her past. By putting others first, Vera, in the end, came out the winner. And she will be loved and remembered by all who knew her and all who read her story. It never occurred to Vera to be anything other than completely honest. Sometimes it worked for her good and sometimes not. But she could be nothing except what she was.
