The study emphasized the interaction between mass media and rural development in a modern village of western Uttar pradesh (India). The main objective of this study is to examine the relationship between mass media and social economic development in the rural population in a completely rural economical and sociological setting. Apart from the above, this study aiming also to assess the status, role and performance of newspaper, radio and television and mobiles as a means of mass media in the village.
