How is the shared imaginary formed? Who are the heroes and villains of our legends, through whom we forged the paths of our own lives? How do we reconcile all the figures who have given us a modern identity in the chaos of post-history? Who are these phantoms that create our form and our voice? Why and how were they elevated to a legendary and immortal pedestal?
Perhaps it is time to re-examine these figures who inhabit the unconscious of every Mexican but whom we have ceased to know over time.
