At the corner where Zgoda and Chmielna streets meet, in front of a small park of linden trees, a boy named Nicolas Love was born on August 13, 2061.He was no ordinary child.Son of Nikodem Love, the imposing red-haired Englishman from Manchester, and Zuzanna Nowak, the elegant blonde lawyer from Warsaw, Nicolas grew up on the second floor of an old building that his family owned entirely. There, among furniture upholstered in soft green velvet, large windows overlooking the park, and a balcony facing Chmielna Street, he spent his entire childhood and youth.From a very young age, he displayed a disconcerting intelligence and an almost unnatural calm.
