The brevity of a haiku, senryu, or tanka mirrors an experience that lasts no longer than a moment; haibun explores the lead-up to that poetic moment. Jean LeBlanc is a poet, artist, and retired educator living in New Jersey, USA. Her poetry and art have appeared in numerous publications.
