The primary motivation of this text is to make a significant contribution towards convexification of inherently nonconvex resource allocation problems. By stressing the interrelationships between optimal power/beamforming vector allocation and subsequent QoS enhancement of wireless systems, it is hoped that this new and unique perspective will be of perennial interest to other students, scholars, and employees in wireless/cellular communication disciplines.
