Paladin

Darkness is rising across Gaia.

For generations, the ancient Paladin families have guarded the realm against the shadows lurking beyond the known world. Their legends are woven into the history of kingdoms, their blades symbols of honor, sacrifice, and war. But as old evils awaken beneath the mountains and forgotten powers stir in the dark, even the Paladins may not be enough to stop what is coming.

Quillan Jourdain has spent his life beneath the towering walls of Jourdain Chateau, raised among warriors descended from one of the oldest and most powerful bloodlines in Gaia. Haunted by the disappearance of his father in the deadly Hoarfrost Mountains and burdened by expectations tied to his family name, Quillan's world begins to unravel when whispers of the Dark One's return spread across the land.

As ancient creatures emerge from forgotten places and the shadows of war grow longer, Quillan is drawn into a dangerous journey alongside legendary fighters, mysterious allies, and powerful enemies hidden in plain sight. Along the way, he must uncover the truth behind his bloodline, the legendary Vorpal Blade known as MagRath, and the growing Darkness threatening to consume Gaia itself.

But some evils are older than kingdoms.

And some doors, once opened, can never be closed.

Filled with ancient lore, dark mystery, brutal battles, powerful friendships, and the first sparks of an epic war between light and shadow, Paladin is the beginning of a sweeping fantasy trilogy where destiny, sacrifice, and the fate of an entire world hang in the balance.
