Pindzia's Adventures

Santa Needs Help! / Babbo Natale ha bisogno di aiuto is a warm and playful English-Italian bilingual Christmas picture book for children learning Italian.

Through a magical Christmas adventure, young readers can enjoy the story in English and Italian, discover new Italian words and expressions in context, and build confidence as they follow Pindzia through the North Pole.

Perfect for young readers who are beginning their Italian journey, bilingual families, homeschoolers, parents introducing Italian at home, and anyone looking for a fun way to make language learning part of Christmas storytime.

Children will discover vocabulary connected to Christmas, winter, presents, emotions, friendship, helping others and everyday actions - all through simple sentences, dialogue, repetition and colorful illustrations.

But Pindzia discovers something even more important:

Being brave doesn't mean you're never scared. Sometimes it simply means trying anyway - especially when a friend is by your side.

The story:

On Christmas Eve, a mysterious red envelope arrives at Pindzia's window with a very special message:

Santa needs her at the North Pole.

Pindzia can't wait to become Santa's little helper. But wrapping presents, packing toys, and carrying enormous piles of gifts turns out to be a little harder than she expected...

Then Pindzia notices someone who might need her help even more.

A little reindeer is standing away from the others. Tonight will be his very first Christmas flight - and he's scared.

Luckily, Pindzia knows exactly what that feels like.

Meet the real Pindzia!

Pindzia isn't only a storybook character - she is a real Cocker Spaniel and the inspiration behind the entire Pindzia's Adventures series. Her curious personality, funny little habits and love of adventure helped inspire the little dog readers meet on every page.

And an adventure to remember.
