Ryderborn

One Ryder Daughter is born every generation, an anomaly bearing no gifts from the God of War. But some traditions are meant to be broken.

Raegan Sorgin may be the daughter of a dragon Ryder, but she knows she isn't destined for the life of a warrior. And honestly? She doesn't care. She intends to follow in her late mother's footsteps, training as a mage. But when the king betroths her to the prince, she must forsake her magic for a crown she doesn't want.

Prince Arlon was Raegan's first love, and biggest regret. She's never forgiven him for casting her aside after he become the first royal to bond with a dragon, suddenly too important for her. But when he confesses the truth behind his disregard, she's forced to rethink every interaction between them.

After a surprising display of strength, Arlon begins to suspect that, unlike past generations, Raegan does possess Ryder gifts. As they train together, testing his theory, rekindling desire blooms. But war is threatening their borders, and with secrets around every palace corner, Raegan must decide if she can trust the man she used to love and learn into her forbidden magic, or flee to save herself and her heart.
