Ikinci literatür ise siir ve hikaye diliyle ortaya cikan ve ilkine göre yaygin ve etkili olan bir literatürdür. Bu alanda Arapca yazanlar arasinda Ibnül-Fariz, Farsca yazanlar arasinda Celaleddin Rumi, Feridüddin Attar, Türkce yazanlar arasinda Yunus Emre en iyi bilinen örneklerdir. Siirle düsüncelerini anlatan sfler ile nesir yazanlar ayni düsünceyi mi anlatmislardi Bu sorunun cevabini bulmak sürecinde siir nazari metinlere yaklastirilmis, tasavvufi siir nazari düsünce icerisinde ve onun kaliplariyla tahlil edilmistir. Basta Mesnevi serhleri olmak üzere pek cok siir serhi böyle bir zihinsel arka planin ürünüdür. Elinizdeki kitap iki tür yazilardan mütesekkildir. Birinci kismi Ekrem Demirlinin degisik vesilelerle yazdigi makalelerdir. Bu yazilarda Mevlana, Yunus Emre ve Niyazi-i Misr ile son devir sf sairlerinden Alvarli Efenin tasavvufun cesitli bahislerine dair düsünceleri ele alinmistir. Ikinci tür yazilar ise Yunus Emrenin siirlerine yazilan serhlerden olusmaktadir. Bu serhlerin temel maksadi Yunusun siirinin arka planini teskil eden tasavvufi düsünceyi ortaya koyabilmektir. Bu sayede söz konusu serhler daha sonra yapabilmeyi umdugumuz genis bir calismanin ilk örnekleri olacaktir.
