They are surprised to find out that even though 2000 years have passed since the time of Salome, feelings still run strong. About the Author: Raised in Holland, Marcus Johnson now resides in New Zealand. Fascinated by the early Roman empire, the death of John the Baptist, and disappointed in the erotic way Salome has been portrayed in history, the author researched these topics to write this book.
