There are literally hundreds of books written on the Tarot. However, this is probably the only one with a "streetwise" approach. This unorthodox system gives the reader a more realistic attitude to the Tarot based on practicality rather than too much airy-fairy metaphysical theorising.
This is not to say that there is no spiritual element to this method along with an attitude of empathy and compassion that the author believes is essential for a Tarot reader. There is an entire chapter on the ethics of Tarot reading, a subject which is rarely, if even ever discussed in other books on the subject.
Another area that is rarely if ever covered in books on the Tarot is how to make money once you have learned how to do it! There is an entire chapter on this mercenary subject!
One unique feature of this book is a memory system whereupon the meanings of all 78 cards can be remembered without months of practice. It should take one to two weeks with this technique. In fact, two weeks is a very conservative estimate. One week is far more likely!
Mark Lewis works in a variety of settings including psychic fairs, flea markets, and corporate events. He also has a thriving private practice. Consequently, his approach is different to that of other psychic readers, and he's happy to give you the benefit of his versatility and 33 years of experience.
