In Christ, there is soundness of mind, wholeness, and healing. We are held in the highest esteem and not abandoned, not overlooked, and not outcasted. Maybe I am still so angry because I can say those things, believe those things. But do I actually accept those things? I simply do not understand. I guess my grandmother is right. Summer has some very real fragmented issues stemming from her car accident. Time hasn't erased the trauma. She longs for love and to be what she thinks is normal. In this volume, things take an even more twisted turn as new characters are introduced, and as familiar ones are left shell-shocked. The past continues to haunt the present, creating even more upheaval for our leading lady. Can Tony be trusted? Can Sam be saved? Will the General McDaniels be lost to Summer?
