The objective in this book is to analyze§synchronization algorithms for OFDM systems using the§example of the standard IEEE802.11a (WLAN). The state-of-the-art synchronization§techniques for the time domain are summarized,§whereas the implementation aspects are always taken§into account. A developed environment is described,§which has been written in the language SystemC to§simulate a transmission system with fixed-point§representation. Furthermore, the implemented§synchronization algorithm is explained in detail and§the results are shown.
