When the sky turns green and an angelic chorus begins, humanity marches toward golden crosses, believing they are chosen for ascension. With a rogue nuclear submarine set to obliterate the alien carrier in eight hours, Jake must race to expose the enemy's true, disturbing motive: a dark treaty with corrupt leaders to "clean up" a world already doomed by war, disease, and the incoming Wormwood comet.
