A breakthrough has been achieved. The great mystery has been solved.
A new interpretation of Rudolf Steiner's statements and sketches concerning the lemniscate paths of the Sun and the planets leads to a remarkable conclusion: the Sun can appear to follow a circular path across the sky over the course of a year, even if both the Sun and the Earth move along lemniscate trajectories. The rotational and pivoting motions of the paths described in Volume One (Parts 1-3) —which followed inevitably from the interpretation presented there—are no longer required.
The paths of the Sun and the Earth correspond to two distinct types of lemniscates. Moreover, both are rotational lemniscates, again of two different kinds. The individual steps involved in solving the problem are described in detail.
To illustrate these intricate path configurations, the book contains 68 mostly coloured illustrations.
