The Taino Gladiator

Set against the vibrant backdrop of 1990s East Harlem, New York, Isaiah Baez is a high school senior and a gifted athlete with dreams of becoming a champion boxer. On a school trip to the Natural History Museum, he and his friends discover the story of a legendary gladiator known as the Spaniard. This moment sparks a chain of events that will change Isaiah's life forever.

After a tense encounter with a local gang leader, Isaiah is mysteriously transported to Ancient Rome and thrown into the brutal world of gladiatorial combat. In the shadow of the Colosseum, strength is only one weapon, and Isaiah quickly learns that resourcefulness and courage are equally crucial.

As he endures grueling training, he navigates a landscape filled with loyalty and betrayal, transforming him from a street fighter into a fierce gladiator. As Teddy Roosevelt once said, "It is not the critic who counts... but the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood." To survive in this new world, Isaiah must embrace the underdog's grit, outsmart fierce adversaries, and confront his deepest fears.

This heart-pounding adventure reveals the essence of hope, bravery, and ambition as Isaiah discovers that true glory belongs to those who dare to fight, no matter the outcome.
