Emigrating to America can be a funny and entertaining experience. Nicole Wilson shares her humorous misadventures as she moved from Duesseldorf, Germany, to the Seattle area. This almost true story recalls the first two years Wilson spent learning about her new country. Overcoming language barriers was probably her most difficult adjustment. But she saw the humor and necessity in learning the slang, sayings, idioms and words that are not in any dictionary.
