Urdimbre no es solo una obra de estética, nos encontramos ante una obra libre del discurso hegemónico del arte que no se encuentra sujeta a la forma imperante de la Historia. Luis Camnitzer (Alemania, 1937) y Antoni Muntadas (Barcelona, 1942), artistas de gran relevancia internacional, inicial este proyecto editorial. Los autores presentan dos textos de distinta naturaleza donde afrontan el proceso creativo a través del propio sujeto artístico. Cada ensayo, si se pudieran considerar así, se pregunta y reflexiona sobre los conflictos propios de los creadores y su relación con el entorno artístico y social. La respuesta, sin riesgo de ser categórica, no puede ser más irónica, crítica e, incluso, sintética. Mis museos y Mimbres son dos textos inclasificables que denotan agudeza y sabiduría de una generación que lleva vivido sucesivos y múltiples escenarios políticos, sociales y artísticos.
