Two boys using their detective skills to help a lost dog find his way back home. This dramatic story, told in comic book format, is perfect for anyone just beginning their foreign-language journey.
"Urfin Come Home", which is also a part of the Student's Book for the "Russian for Kids Soroka 3" course, is aimed at children who are studying the Russian language at the beginner's level. The Soroka series makes learning to listen, speak, read, and write in Russian easy by teaching through fun activities.
"Urfin Come Home" presents easy-to-understand concepts of Russian grammar, words, and expressions that are used at the low intermediate level. Students can enjoy reading and following the story even if their language level is very low (simple).
The story incorporates interesting facts about children and adults living in Russia: how they go shopping, hoe they place ads when their pets are missing; where they buy their pets; dog shows; how Russians drink tea; and so on.
At the same time. It is engaging tale that can capture the attention of children - even if their level of language is much lower than intermediate.
The interesting story and colorful book are beautiful, both as a tool for learning the language and as a gift to a child.
