What Were We Looking For?

Grandpa has a very important quest. He just can't remember what it is.

Alan doesn't mind. He's good at finding things.

What follows is an adventure through the garden, the garage, seventeen boxes, and one very unimpressed dog - full of butterscotch candies, mystery keys, and more laughs than either of them expected.

But when Alan's mom kneels down before they head outside and says, "Grandpa's memory isn't as good as it used to be - just be patient with him, okay?" - Alan takes that job seriously.

Because even when Grandpa can't remember what they're searching for, he remembers exactly how much he loves spending time with Alan.

What Were We Looking For? is the first book in the Grandpa & Alan Adventure series - warm, funny stories about memory, patience, and the kind of love that never gets lost, even when everything else slips away.

Perfect for:

• Children ages 4-8
• Families navigating dementia together
• Grandparents and grandchildren who love adventures
