Collaborating with illustrator Corey Macourk, the book engages simple, straightforward explanations of social distancing and vaccines, the book shows vibrant scenes of the boy and his father and interactions with the boy's grandmother during now-familiar pandemic situations - empty parks, video chats, and distancing at supermarkets. The result is the book that he wished he'd had to read his son at night.
