P.S. Luhn was the first-born to a North Dakota Norwegian/farmgirl/teacher/choir director, and her German-Danish, Lutheran Minister. Though he tested well, the lad struggled in school and in life, because he never believed in himself. Still true.

Luhn earned a Bachelor's Degree in American Literature, from little Carthage College, in Kenosha, WI. He never used his degree, professionally, but was employed over a forty-something year period in banking and finance. He began acting at the tender age of 13 in a play directed by Charles Luhn, his father. It would be eight years until his next role, the male lead in "Barefoot in the Park", in a summer theatre program at Glen Oaks C.C. in Centreville MI.

After a move to Lima, Ohio, in the late 70's P.S. found himself highly-involved with a local community theatre, Amil Tellers of Dramatics, Inc. (Encore Theatre), where he acted in several dozen plays, and produced nearly a dozen more. He also served on their board of trustees and was, for a year, their president.
