Applied fashion design: Design ideas and experiences

Fashion is not merely a means of covering parts of the body, protecting it from the elements, or simply a desire for adornment. Rather, fashion has deep roots in the culture, civilization, traditions, and all aspects of life of every nation. It is also a true mirror reflecting social, economic, political, and religious conditions throughout the ages. Therefore, we have ensured that this book includes important concepts for applied fashion design, such as fashion sketching, the basic elements that constitute fashion trends, and forecasting fashion trends from 2018 to 2020. In addition, it teaches how to draw different textures of fabrics, showcases a number of women's, men's, and children's fashion mannequins, and demonstrates how to create sketches of women's, men's, and children's models, encompassing more than fifty designs.
