So you think you know how to do the job better than the police officer? What is the highest of highs and lowest of lows you've ever experienced? No matter what they are, multiply it by a level of, say 10! Now you're getting close to a police officer's best . . . and/or worst day. The stories you hold in your hand are all true! They were chosen in an attempt to educate you, the reader, on some of the things that the average officer will see in a day. Take a read and see if your opinions on law enforcement and other first responders (fire and ambulance) along with dispatchers will stay the same. I mean, if you are going to argue a point, shouldn t you have at least a glimmer of truthful knowledge from which to speak? If, after reading what s in this book you still think you could do the job better . . . come on buttercup! Join a department and let s see what you re made of!
