If coal was the engine of the 18th-century Industrial Revolution, then the internet is the engine of the technological revolution of the early 21st century. If we were to call this era the "e;Internet Age,"e; it would be undeniably so. The internet has transformed lifestyles, governments, and even traditional notions of power. E-governments emerged, then evolved into smart governments, and subsequently into smart cities. It wouldn't be surprising to see entire countries become smart, relying on the internet and mobile devices to access all services and conduct transactions. The emergence of cyberspace and the World Wide Web has had a profound impact on human life. Its ease of use and low cost have enabled it to play diverse roles in various aspects of life, whether commercial, economic, informational, political, military, ideological, or otherwise. This has given rise to a new concept we can call "e;cyber power."e; The world is now governed by incredibly small entities, and it has become clear that those who possess the mechanisms to utilize this new electronic environment are the most capable of influencing the behavior of its users.
