He was appointed curator of the Egyptian Opera House, worked in journalism, and worked as editor-in-chief of the "e;Akhir Sa'a"e; magazine. His name became famous among readers in the 1940s and 1950s. He was twenty, and he had a prominent contribution to literary criticism, and he fought literary battles on the pages of newspapers and magazines.
