Normal Service May Not Resume

Normal life does not always end with a warning.A carnival barker watches a gray tent choose its next visitor. A businessman enters a museum where the exhibits are becoming much too familiar. A wife reports her husband missing and discovers the world insists he was never there. An overnight radio host begins receiving calls from disasters that have not happened yet.Elsewhere, a motorcycle club's colors seem to know who will die next, a town's population sign may be telling the truth, a vending machine gives people exactly what they need, and an old music room refuses to forget. In Normal Service May Not Resume, Gil Edwards brings together eight stories about ordinary people who cross a line into the impossible. The rules are never fully explained. The consequences are real.Once something changes, normal service may not resume.
