Modern day fairytale drama that tells the story of a young musical prodigy seeking his birth parents. Lyla Novacek (Keri Russell) is a brilliant young cellist who has just finish performing a concert in New York City. She meets Louis Connelly (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), a charismatic Irish guitar player, at a party. It's a case of mutual love at first sight as they bond over their shared love of music. August Rush (Freddie Highmore) is the child who uses his magical, musical powers to try and track down the parents who unwittingly abandoned him...
