Based on the novel by Giancarlo De Cataldo and Carlo Bonini, this Italian thriller stars Claudio Amendola as Samurai, a gangster with dreams of turning Rome's waterfront town Suburra into the new Las Vegas. Italian MP Filippo Malgradi (Pierfrancesco Favino) is Samurai's inside link to achieving his goal, ensuring the funding is received from both the Vatican and the Mafia.
